The Drain Authority Seattle & the Greater Eastside
Answer a few questions about what your drains are doing. We will tell you what the pattern suggests, how urgent it looks, and which service actually fits — before anyone comes out.
A single slow sink and a restricted main sewer line can look similar from the sink itself. What separates them is how the rest of the building behaves while that fixture drains — which is most of what this tool asks about.
Cabling a line opens a channel through a blockage. If the pipe wall is still coated with grease, scale or roots, the channel closes again. That is why how long a previous cleaning lasted tells us more than the fact it happened.
This is an educational triage tool. It reads the pattern in your answers and points you toward the service that usually fits it. It cannot see inside your pipes, and it never claims to. Only a camera or a technician on site can confirm a cause.
