01Who we are and what this policy covers
The Drain Authority LLC (“The Drain Authority,” “we,” “us”) provides drain and sewer cleaning, hydro jetting, pipe descaling and sewer camera inspection in Seattle and nearby communities in King and Snohomish counties. Our office is at 5608 17th Ave NW, Suite 2025, Seattle, WA 98107.
This policy covers information we collect through drainauthority.pro, when you call, text or email us, when you book online, and when we perform service at your property. It does not cover other companies’ websites, even when we link to them.
02Information you give us
Service requests
Our contact form asks for your first and last name, email, phone number, city, requested date, the services you need, and a description of the problem. You can also attach files, such as photos of the drain.
Free Drain Diagnostic
The Free Drain Diagnostic records the answers you choose about your drain symptoms. If you ask us to follow up, it also collects your contact details, your preferred contact method (phone, text or email) and your timing. If you ask to email yourself the results, we use your email address to send them.
Online booking, calls and messages
When you book online through Housecall Pro, you provide your name, service address, phone number, email and appointment details. When you call, text or email us, we receive your number or address and whatever you choose to tell us.
Service visits
To do the job and keep a record of it, we keep your service address, access notes, the work performed, photos, camera inspection video, estimates, invoices and payment records. This website does not collect payment card numbers.
Blog comments
If you comment on a blog post, WordPress stores your name, email address, comment, IP address and browser type to help detect spam.
03Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager and Google Site Kit, to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, time on page, the site that referred you, device and browser type, and approximate location based on IP address. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology. The diagnostic tool also sends which steps are used, so we can improve it.
- Spam and security. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm a real person is submitting them. It may process your IP address and browser signals.
- Server logs. Our hosting records technical details such as IP address, browser type, date and time, and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
- Embedded content. Google Maps, our review display, web fonts and code libraries load from other companies’ servers, which receive your IP address when the page loads.
04How we use your information
- Respond to your request and schedule, confirm and dispatch service.
- Diagnose the problem, perform the work, and document what we found.
- Prepare estimates and invoices, take payment, and keep accounting and tax records.
